| Opened in 1969, by professional golfer
Max Faulkner, Pastures Golf Club has changed very little since then. That is of course
apart from the few hundred trees that have been planted, the new tees that have been
built, the green that has been moved, the better maintenance of the course and the fact
that the course is now played in a different hole order than originally planned. Set in,
what was until its closure and subsequent development in 1995, the grounds of a
psychiatric hospital (Pastures Hospital hence the name) this nine hole course may not be
the longest, but is defiantly one of the most testing in the Derby Area. |
